I'm Thomas W. Manetti, and I've had the privilege of being a part of a remarkable journey in the culinary world and event design. It all began in 1982 when I founded what was initially known as L’Eleganté Cuisine, a name that would later transform into Eleganté Cuisine.

​

This journey started 24 years ago when I operated Eleganté Cuisine as a part-time endeavor from my home in River Forest, Illinois. Drawing from my family's culinary heritage, I embraced recipes handed down through generations, nurturing our family's collective experience. This evolution culminated in the birth of a comprehensive, full-service catering and event planning company.

As our reputation for culinary excellence and exceptional service continued to grow, Eleganté Cuisine evolved. We expanded our horizons, relocating to Rolling Meadows, Illinois, securing a 2500 sq. ft. office and kitchen space. It was here that we solidified our reputation for maintaining a high standard of service and cuisine.

But the story didn't stop there. The journey led me to new horizons. I am now the proud owner of Metropolis Ballroom, a prestigious wedding and event venue. Metropolis Ballroom not only offers a stunning space for special occasions but also features catering from Eleganté Cuisine, ensuring that every event is a memorable culinary experience.

Expanding our presence in the world of food and hospitality, Wayne Enterprises Chicago owns Café Elegante, a charming establishment offering delicious cuisine and a warm ambiance for diners. Additionally, our reach extends to Corky's Catering, where we bring our culinary expertise to a broader audience.

Beyond our local successes, we've also ventured into nationwide event planning, helping clients from coast to coast bring their events to life with creativity and excellence.

I'm truly excited to have been part of this incredible journey, and I look forward to creating even more unforgettable moments in the world of food, events, and hospitality.
